Darren Probert – Committee Member
Photography has been a hobby of mine for 37 years, with my first camera being a Minolta X700. I like most have never looked back since the digital age of photography.
I use Sony today and enjoy my photography more than ever.
From Derbyshire Landscapes to wildlife and macro I don’t really have a main genre but appreciate the challenges that each one brings.
Joining RRDPS in 2023 has become my favourite night of the week, I have met so many friends and enjoyed a packed programme covering all aspects of photography. I learn so much from each night and I’m happy with my final intermediate competition score against some superb like-minded photographers.
I have some great times, memories sharing my hobby with my lovely family. My son, who I am incredibly proud of is quite the photographer too.
While my Wife (Mrs P) and Alfie have waited patiently on many occasions while I’m trying to get the shot. 😊
